Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC)
ERIC is the largest education database in the world, containing more than 1 million records of journal articles, research reports, curriculum and teaching guides, conference papers, and books. ERIC is supported by the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Educational Research and Improvement and is administered by the National Library of Education.

Family Education Network
Provides standards-based activities, lesson plans, research tools, homework help, creative activities, printables, games, and instructional techniques for teachers and parents of children K-12.

This Family Education Network site provides free games and online quizzes for children K-8, parents, and teachers.

No Child Left Behind
The No Child Left Behind website provides information and answers to questions about the U.S. federal legislation enacted in January 2002. The Act redefines the federal role in K-12 education and means to help close the achievement gap between disadvantaged and minority students and their peers.

Scholastic.com has won numerous awards and offers classroom-tested online curriculum, lesson plans and reproducibles, professional resources, online activities, news, and background on authors and books.

Teachers.net
This site hosts teacher chat rooms, mailrings, and bulletin boards. It also offers free lesson plan, curriculum, and teacher project ideas.

U.S. Department of Education
The Department was established to ensure equal access to education and to promote educational excellence for all Americans. The site includes many publications for parents.

State Department of Education
