Leadership Conference
The IRA Coordinator and the Leadership Development Associate, in conjunction with the Oklahoma Reading Association, design and conduct an annual leadership workshop for local and special interest council leaders.  This provides the councils with the opportunity to discuss the needs and challenges they face with the express purpose of keeping the councils strong.  Council officers are apprised of duties and responsibilities for all officers.  Components of council management and effective councils are depicted.  Leadership provides the councils and the ORA Board the opportunity to get acquainted and work together for Oklahoma Literacy.
